Research has shown that consumers regard a number of aspects to be important when it comes to a telephone case and that they base their choice of products on these aspects. We focused on this when designing the SoSkild range.
The case obvously has to offer optimal protection to the telephone it contains. We believe it is logical to make it clear to the consumer about the way how the protection is actually provided. People would rather display their expensive smart phone devices to the whole world without hiding the design into a thick phone case. However, current telephones are not built to withstand being dropped in different situations. The only solution is to put the device in a case, but preferably one which still displays the telephone's design. If consumers have to put their telephone in some kind of case for protection, it recommended to choose one that looks good!
The SoSkild design team consisting of young designers from Delft University of Technology went to work on these aspects. In order to meet the demand of as many different consumers as possible, the SoSkild line up offers three levels of protection: the Absorb Impact Case, the Defend Heavy Impact Case and the Defend Wallet Heavy Impact Case. To protect the smartphone's screen, SoSkild also has an extra screen protector, the SoSkild Crystal Glass Twice Tempered Screen Protector. All cases are fitted with the unique SoSkild ZigZag Sculpture®. This provides the best protection for people their telephones in a logical way.
Diamond-shaped corners
In addition to this, all cases are fitted with the unique diamond-shaped corners. These unique features in the corners of the case gives it a strong and diamond-shaped look. The diamond-shaped corners ensure when the telephone is dropped that it does not bounce vertically, which would lead to a second impact. Instead, it quickly comes to a halt.
Colours
Lastly, the SoSkild cases are available in a fully transparent and a smokey grey version. Moreover, the different levels of protection have some specific advantages.
